Evince hasn't followed this path and is still one of the quickest PDF file readers to work with. Many programs end up adding so many small functions that in the end they can't perform their main purpose properly, and they are no longer comfortable to use. It can only be used to perform this action, and it does so in the most important way: quickly and being very stable. Evince is a brilliant PDF and PostScript viewer. Forget about great applications with dozens of functions that are totally useless.
